Who Brings Out the Best in You?

The person who brings out the best in my life is Joseph Zhang. He is our band’s conductor.

He teach us not just music also teach us how to be people. In China, most top school have band in school but the bad thing is they have wrong ideas, means in school the band just play two or one son in the year cause they need to prepare competition they want to win it, it also happen in my middle school, that is so boring, they aren’t enjoy the music, even you don’t know what the feeling of this song, what are you need to expression, just play lots of time, remember the song!! But in Guangzhou Young Symphonic Band, the conductor has different ideas of play music for fun, for enjoyment, for learn, for improving yourself.

My first time came audition when I was in middle school. At that time, my just have basics skill, I can said I didn’t know everything, but conductor gave me a chance, he said if you don’t try how can you know you can progress? So I still in band B, some time I can’t follow it or have some problems of skill, he will help us if we ask him. Also he will invite others musician come to our band to give us some view let us know more and more things with music. Also he gives us different music score to let us feel music and improve our skill. So in their, I learn and I improve.

Music can change life also music can’t get money to measure. That is they most important things that Joseph teaches us. Within your ability to help more people! He not just help our band he also help in other band which school haven’t enough money let kids learn instrument. He helps people to improve.

What are the most valuable things you’ve learned?

Since September, I have learned don’t be quiet to ask any questions, I have learned be positive, I have learned must more think.

When I was a senior 2 student, I was always quiet to ask any question to teacher my I very know all the knowledge? That is the question I ask myself before. Sometimes I just don’t know how to ask this question in English so I give up; sometimes I just afraid it so I give up again. Thinks those reasons is it a good reasons that make me have an explain which is don’t ask question? No!! If you don’t know any things think about it and ask questions, change the question to answers, don’t give up. That is first thing of great value I learned.

Second is be positive, here is college, you are the student, is you need to learn nobody compel you. So must to be positive, need to push yourself to solve the problem, to finish the job, bring the intense emotion to life.

Third is must more think, to be honest I still can’t think deep on the things, so I will keep thinking, think more, consider more.

Who brings out the best in you?

The best person is my old sister. My old sister is older than me for 1 year. However, she taught me how to speaking, writing and do housework. She spoke English very well and her performances were very corking that she got a good university acceptance letter. In fact, she played piano very commendably when she was a middle school student. In my memory, my sister is a temper that she gets bad things from her works or life. She often quiet treats everything in her life. I need to learn from her how to deal with things. It is the best for me how to approach people and things in the society.

What have you learned of great value?

I have learned in ESL class was the reading skill and how to find some information of college in the internet. Using internet and compare these colleges’ differences and what’s the best college for me or my friends. The school environment, course and tuition what is the best. Also, my reading skill was increasing and makes us know the different stories in the world. In January, I will leave school and home to go to America. In that time, I learned many skills for go abroad. For example how to find apartment, apply to schools and learn. All of things must by us in America. We must take care and study hard.

What Have You Learned of Great Value?

The great value since September is art. I like art and I want to learn more about art, so when I have this class, I felt very exciting. In this art class, I know many interesting artwork and artist. How amazing they thought, how surprise they mark. Every time after I watch art video, I felt unbelievable. I need to learn art because I want to be a designer, art is basic in design. The other class is vocabulary class, I learn and remember many words in this class, once a week take a quiz is good for me.
2) Describe and write about the person who brings out the best in you? In other words, who challenges you to be your best by their very life?

My childhood teachers taught me when you do something should step by step. This reason helps me all the time. When I feel irritable with something, I will repeat this reason and do it step by step. For example, when I need to play a song on important festival, I must cut the song accurate, so I do this work all day, when I want to give up, I told myself, this is important work, you have to do that and everyone need you to do that. That’s why I can persist to do.

What Have You Learned Recently?

I think I have learned a lot in Susan’s class, Biology class and also the TOEFL class. First, I have learned a lot about the writing skill and how to be well prepared before I go to college. Second, I learn some knowledge that I didn’t familiar before. In TOEFL writing class, even though the class is just make sure we get ready for the TOEFL test, but the teacher truly taught us few amazing skill to write some good essay.

My mother is my hero. In my junior high school, I often learn bad lessons to sleep. In junior three I started to work of the study and review before,  My mother said I know you don’t know a lot of homework. But you just know what should you do. Finally, I know what I want, I want to go abroad. So I study very hard. Even study all night. The end I join in this school.

My father is a person who brings out the best of me, for he always tells me the principles and gives me a lot of encouragements. He told me that when you a young study is very important because your memory is good and your could remember a lot of knowledge, but when you become old you will forget quickly and difficult to study new things.

What I’ve Learned

In September, I learned that reading is very important to improving my English. I like to read more than before and I enjoy it. I could learned new words and learned many principles in the books. Kiko -Brings Out the Best in Me

A person who brings out my best is my Math teacher – Kiko.

I never had a chance to speak in public and I don’t know how to get that chance. However, even someone if ask me host a news conference or take a competition before, I definitely say no. Because I afraid. I have no idea what it opportunities really mean and why I need to catch it. I always stay away from hard thing. After she be my teacher….i have changed. Having a teacher like her is the luckiest thing in my life. Because of Kiko, I know how opportunities important for me and challenges are my friends. She is affecting me not only because she always is inspiring me, but also her special teaching style.

The Happiest Restaurant

If I owned a restaurant, I would like to use Disney theme. The name will be “Happiest” because Disney always brings pleasure to people.

The foods in my restaurant are very special. I’d use all the character modeling. I went to three different Disney theme parks almost ten times. I ate in Disneyland more than ten times. The food at Disney, not matter Disneyland or Disney world. They’ll have same problem. The choices are too limited. Custom can’t deeply enjoy the food. So, in my “Happiest” restaurant have many different kinds food get customer to choice. Not only American food, but also food from all the world. ( The Epcot center in Orlando Disney world have a lot of different countries’ food. However, it is TERRIBLE!! )

The food in Disney are expensive especially in Hongkong Dineyland. So, I won’t make the food in my restaurant expensive. Just a little bit higher than the cost. The purpose I open this restaurant is can let more people enjoy the pleasure that Disney gives.
